Dry bowtie noodles make for a fine butterfly with this easy art project.
We make a lot of arts and crafts! It is almost a daily affair to have some hands-on creative fun with the kids. We always have the best results with simple materials that don't require many directions.
After making dinner a few weeks ago, we had just a handful of bowtie pasta leftover in the package, I grabbed some glue, small squares of paper and the sharpies and we got busy letting our imaginations take flight.
As you can see this is so easy that any child you feel comfortable giving a permanent marker to can make.
We began by drawing polka dots on the noodles.
We used a few colors, to make all 3 butterflies a little different.
One on of the noodles I drew hearts to the delight of my 3 year old.
Next, we glued our noodles in place on light blue paper. You can use as many or as few as you like.
Finally, draw on the little antennae on the butterflies. This was fun, easy and came together in a few moments time.
